connection to pc not picking up

Can anyone help please. I connected my Q5 to pc via usb, waiting for the pop-up to appear on my pc but nothing happened. When I checked computer folder no display of phone connected. I did this before and it worked as I transfered files to my pc, but now nothing happens the phone just charging as normal.

Sorry to hear you're having an issue with your BlackBerry Q5 smartphone.

 

Under Settings>Storage and Access, what is your setting for USB Connection? Is USB Mass Storage showing On or Off? 

 

What is your Windows version?

Hi,
The usb mass storage is off and I have windows 7.

Change your USB Mass Storage to On then connect to your computer.

Does it detect?

Is your computer a laptop or a desktop?
