It's not likely you'll get warranty work for the cracked screen from Fido; they'll fix it for you but it'll cost you because they'll claim it was beyond everyday wear and tear that caused it.
As for the freezing, it's unusual for a BB10 device to freeze up. If it does, reloading the OS using BlackBerry Link would be a good thing to do. Before you do, make sure you do a data backup first. You might also want to look at recent apps you've installed; one of them could be causing the freezing up. If you've installed anything recently, try uninstalling it to see if that corrects the issue.
