Will my background still show if I load a SVG?


Just got my Bold 9700 a few days ago and have been working on a theme. I have some buttons-triggered animations but they are mostly small litlte things that erm.. runs across the screen or something silly like that.


My question is, should I put my background in my SVG file or should I put both a background and a SVG file (that has a transparent background). Will the ,png background picture still shows? Or will the SVG file covers over it entirely?

If you have a SVG that contains no background, just elements like buttons, then whatever you're using as the background in Theme Builder will show through.  The SVG will be overlaid on top of that image.


When customizing the Home Screen, the images are layered like this:

That is, unless you check off the box named "Render Home Screen Over Banner".  If you do that, then the images will be layered like this:
