BBM message to web service: possible?

I have a question - can I use BBM to send a message to a  "user" which is in fact a web service with a BBM PIN, which will then analyse my message and send a return message it compiled? Or must this recipient be a real user?

Is something like that possible?

Re: BBM message to web service: possible?

As of right now I'd say this is not possible since PINs are something which are a part of physical BlackBerry devices...

However in the future this may be possible when the switch to using BBID instead occurs, as the "online" user may have options to sign into your service using BBID, then they could likely receive BBMs provided RIM gives out APIs for web usage

Has this BBID facility or something similar become available since? Like the original poster, I'd like to develop a service that a user can communicate with via BBM if possible.
