Help with BAAWS SOAP Messages

Hi all

I'm trying to write some BAAWS client code in Ruby. The code has successfully called the findAuthenticators method.

I'm having problems with the encodeUser method @ /baaws/core/wsutil to encode my username details.

The method is called but the logs on the BES show:

(10/24 18:02:30.295):{http-myserver.local%2F10.58.111.167-443-9} [com.rim.bes.bas.baa.utilws.UtilBean] [INFO] [BAA-1001] {u=0, uc=0, o=0, t=0} encodeUsername(null,...)

...suggesting the method is being called but the arguments aren't being sent properly. I know all the BAAWS documentation and examples are  for .NET and Java so I'm not going to ask for specific Ruby help.

What would be helpful is if someone can post what a correct SOAP message for encodeUsername should look like. From that I can hopefully figure out where the SOAP library I'm using is going wrong.

Many thanks

Re: Help with BAAWS SOAP Messages

Hi and welcome to the forums!

Each object in the BWS API documentation includes the scema for each object, but the exact SOAP calls/responses are not currently. Sorry if that's not much help.
