Unable to set authentication password

I am trying to set activation password through a .net application I am trying to use the .setActivationPasswordAsync command to send the setActivationPassword information

 to my server.  I have been unable to retrieve the new password to verify it has been set.  is this the correct way to use these two elements? Is there some other way to verify that the program is sending the new password to the server?  Thank you in advance for your time and help.

Below is a sample of the code I am trying to use to set the activation password.

setActivationPassword SAP = new setActivationPassword();

int BBuserID = Convert.ToInt16(Prompt.prompt("Enter User ID"));

string BBActivationPassword = Prompt.prompt("Enter Activation Password");

int BBexpiryHours = Convert.ToInt16(Prompt.prompt("Enter Expiry Hours"));

SAP.expiryHours = BBexpiryHours;

SAP.userId = BBuserID;dispatcherWebService.setActivationPasswordAsync(SAP);

SAP.password = BBActivationPassword;
