App World and Jad Files

Our deployment strategy uses some values in the JAD file to change various states of the application once installed. We are reading this values programmatically within our application. On the App World, is there a Jad file involved at all and if so, is there any way we can programmtically detect the file as one autogenerated by the App World versus arbitrary ones that get created at build time by the JDE?

Re: App World and Jad Files

I'm still doing some research on the issue, but I found this reference in one of the post that sounds useful.  I am actually trying to figure out whether this could be used to control compatibility mode for the Storm.  I suspect it can't but would be interested in hearing if anyone has success doing so.

Re: Storm compat mode jad settting into .cod files Options

You can add the JAD file to your project, add those parameters and then build the COD file.  This builds all of the additional JAD file parameters into the COD file.
