We have an app which originally was submitted with only English description. Some time after that we added French description to it as well, so if you select "French" on the top right corner of the App World webstore, it correctly switches the page language (including our app's description), to French:
So far so good. Then we added Italian description to it. Assuming it should work the same way, I browsed to our app's page and switched the language to Italian. The web page correctly changed to Italian, but the app's description remained in English:
then I tried refreshing the page couple of times, play with different options in the drop-downs, and after opening the "Currency" box and clicking on "USD" (which was already pre-selected, by the way), the page refreshed and the app's description was now in Italian:
I thought that it was weird, and tried to browse our app from my BlackBerry device. I changed the device UI language to Italian, opened the App World client app and browsed to our app. Again, all the UI was in Italian, except for the app's description, which remained in English.
Looks like a bug to me. Any thoughts?
