App discoverability?

I just read this article

http://devblog.blackberry.com/2013/01/marketing-your-app-blackberry-world/ at developer blog and I have some comments to search algorithm:

  1. According info written there there are no dynamic aspects to the search. I would love to see at least following dynamic aspects:

    1. Active installs - it is extremely difficult to cheat this. Only way how get a lot of active installs is: to make good app.

    2. Items tha people click according keyword. Example: you use search word calculator. According rules described in article  at first place there will be app that has name calculator, in short description there are only words calculator, keywords as well. I would prefer introduce to count what people click for every search term (eg. I'll put word calculator and people click on first, third and fifth result. Then it means that people are interested in these apps and they should get their ranking updated). We can expect that there will be hundred calculators and it is necessary to put all ugly items to the bottom and only fair rule how to decide what is ugly is to let customers vote.

I believe that app discoveribility is key factor of success of BB World. In case users will not find nice apps then they will be disappointed. If developers make nice app and it will not have chance to be in top of the results then developer will leave platform.

What do you think?
