Re: App world sales

I know for my app when I get sales in Europe (I'm in North America) I get an additional 20% VAT tacked on so that I only make about 57% or something similar of my sales. ie. 70% X (80% X 1.99) = $1.11

Re: App world sales

Although I haven't had any official answer from RIM(or AppWorld or Digital River or whatever) I'm starting to think that's the reason (European VAT).

Thks QuestionMan.

Re: App world sales

No, the additional 20% VAT is paid by the customer. So instead of 1.99, they pay 2.39

In the reports, the total sale would be shown as 2.39. So you do make 57% on total sale price, but 70% on your intended sale price.
