Company required?

Hello,

In order to register with RIM as vendor they want to have company details. So does that mean, you really have to set up a company before you can register? Isn't that a little bit of overkill for a private developer who does this alongside his normal day job?

Thanks.

Daniel

Re: Company required?

Hi pfiffi78,

You can apply to become a BlackBerry App World Vendor as an individual as well. In the welcome email you receive shortly after your application is complete there should be an attached Notary Form which can be completed and returned to storefrontmanager@rim.com.  This should be used for individual developers.

Thanks,

Re: Company required?

Hello Ryan,

We spoke about this before via email. I have one question left: What information should I put in the form where it asks for company details?

Thanks.

Daniel
