Icon display

Hi,

I want to display an icon on the bottom-right of the screen. While the icon is displayed i want to keep the screen functional.

Icon should be displayed on MenuItem selection only.

If i extend mainscreen, display covers the entire region. if i extend popupscreen,it pop ups the icon on center & control remains on the popupscreen.

If somebody has a sample code for this, please share.

Re: Icon display

Divide your screen into two sections using two (Vertical or Horizontal)-FieldManagers

- One section holding your main elements of the screen (the top part)

- The other section holding your icon.

The overwrite the layout() method of the top field manager and limit its height to Display.getHeight() - 'height of bottom field manager holding your icon'

Add both field managers to the screen.
