Mismatch in download reports and sales report

I've a paid app in app-world. I just received payment for April month yesterday. So I ran a download report from vendor portal and can see a mismatch in both the sales invoice and the download report. Downloads were almost 5-times higher than mentioned in the sales invoice. Is it a common? And what's the logic behind this mismatch?

BB is in the process of migrating the payment systems. That's why we get various reports:

 

  • The report you received this week from BlackBerry Commerce is for BB10 sales via PayPal or credit cards.
  • You'll be receiving another report from Digital River next week for PlayBook sales via PayPal or credit cards.
  • You'll be receiving third report in few months from Bango for BB10 sales via carrier billing.

I'm not sure how PlayBook 3G/4G carrier billing is handled, or whether it's even possible.

 

The download count apparently also includes updates and people re-downloading your app after a device wipe, or on a second device with the same BBID.

Is there a way to tell in the download report for purchases whether an app was purchased through carrier billing (Bango) or not?  All I'm seeing is the carrier.

mmd12, I don't think so. That also makes it hard to reconcile the account statements from Bango, BB Commerce, and Digital River, as they arrive at various times following the month of actual sales. Awkward...
