Web app launcher app not working

I have created a wesite launcher app using the following xml config file:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<widget xmlns="http://www.w3.org/ns/widgets"
xmlns:rim="http://www.blackberry.com/ns/widgets"
version="1.0.0.0"
id="wizenation"
xml:lang="en">
<name>WizeNation</name>
<author>Asim Siddiqui</author>
<content src="www.wizenation.com"/>
<icon src="appicon.png" />
<access uri="*" subdomains="true" />
<rim:cache disableAllCache="true" />
</widget>

I successfully published and signed the app using Ripple. Then I installed the signed .bar file on my playbook using blackberry-deploy as well as chrome playbook manager.   I see the icon on my playbook but when I click on my app's icon I get the following message

"Error: This file could not be opened. Check that you have the correct permissions and try again."

I have created the bar file twice now with new sign in keys both time. Is there something wrong with my xml code? How can I verify that my .bar file is good?

Re: Web app launcher app not working

I will try that. Would I have to order new signin keys again? or I can sign with the previous ones?

Re: Web app launcher app not working

Ok where do we update the version number?

I am getting this error now when I adding my bar file on the vendor portal:

File bundle (WizeNation.bar) has been rejected. Package ID is required for all .bar file. If this is an upgrade, Package ID must match Package ID in original file bundle.

Re: Web app launcher app not working

This means you either changed your id (wizenation in your config.xml above) or signed with a different code signing key.

Match those up with your first release, repackage and you should be good to go.

Re: Web app launcher app not working

Ok so I was having trouble signing with the old CSJ file. Thats why I ordered new ones.

Why cant I sign with this old CSJ file? I am getting this error when I am trying to sign it:

Error: Unable to open CSJ file: client-RDK-1930910.csj

Are you sure the keys is installed correctly?

Re: Web app launcher app not working

What do you mean by install?

I just save the keys that I get in the email to the bin folder : /Developer/SDKs/Research In Motion/BlackBerry WebWorks SDK for TabletOS 2.2.0.5/bbwp/blackberry-tablet-sdk/bin

i have tried saving in other folders like /Users/Asim/keys but that didnt work either.

The csj files are only good for one time use when installing.  Use these steps to backup and restore your code signing keys.
