How do you propose we reach out to support in order to tell you about apps over 3 weeks old. W have a number dating back to January 15th, many over 3 weeks old, we have used the vendor support ticket twice. This has been ignored twice.

As mentioned above, you should be able to use a Private Message in this forum, and include your app id in the message. Just click on his username and you'll find the "Send this user a private message" link in the Contact section.

There is no way to spin a 10 month wait as anything other than ridiculous.

Anyone trying to blow you off with a pre-emptive "thank you for your patience" for a situation like that

is in reality saying "take a hike; we don't care about you or about how well our processes work."

Well, I really think a 10-month wait is nothing more than a very special case, either an app which may not pass certain vetting criteria (e.g. conflicting with core functionality) or one which simply fell through the cracks.  I seriously doubt in the latter case that anyone at BlackBerry would say "thank you for your patience" but, rather, "why the heck didn't you ask about this sooner?!".

A vendor waiting patiently for 10 months would also be ridiculous. I'm sure there's a deeper story behind this one.

Re: Where are they on the backlog? Report submission dates of recent approvals.

Before all of this started in January, we had the odd app which did not get cleared within a week or two. On these occasions a vendor support ticket would sort out the issue within 24 hours.

Submission date: 25th of February

Status: waiting for approval Smiley Happy

Maybe I don't have any patience, but it keeps me busy, returning 20 times to my vendor site to check for any news Smiley Wink

Bryan,

Just to be clear, can you confirm that you are associated with Blackberry?

I think they are getting better. New app submitted Feb. 26 and approved Mar. 13

My oldest ticket that remains untouched is for an app update (not a new app), submitted on Feb 7.

Re: Where are they on the backlog? Report submission dates of recent approvals.

I would appreciate if BB could create some status page with number of apps in the queue.

Simple one page report updated daily with two information:

1) number of apps in the queue

2) estimated time when app submitted today will be tested

I believe that anybody can accept exception situation with flooded review teams. But uncertainty is much worse and causes a lot of negative emotions.
