I expect the Dev Alphas to stop working in early to mid April, which will give enough time for developers to get replacement devices...

No its the version bb has launched for developers for alpha testing!
Their bb OS 10 will roll out with the new models soon!

Dev A and B will Be Functional with phone BBM and all other Service between time 30th Jan till march 1st week , Only thing u have to do is Update your Device with Latest Os Update it will be Awesome
