"uncaught exception: java.lang.noclassdeffounderror" !!!

Error Message "uncaught exception: java.lang.noclassdeffounderror"

When I upgraded the App World on my 9520 it installed successfully but simultaneously it also gave me this error "uncaught exception: java.lang.noclassdeffounderror".

After rebooting I clicked on the App World Icon but still gives me the same error "uncaught exception: java.lang.noclassdeffounderror" !!!

What do I do?

Pl help.

Re: "uncaught exception: java.lang.noclassdeffounderror" !!!

I had that problems with my App World before and i already fix it,

try this,

1) Go to this link http://www.bbh-plus.net/downloads.php?do=cat&id=167 with ur phone

     - find what OS u use in ur phone

2) Download App World from that link.

3) After Download, ur App World should be OK with ur OLD VERSION App World.

U Can Smile with ur BlackBerry..........

orkidhitamberduri, Thank you for providing this post. This resolved the issue on my Blackberry Storm. RIM should remove from general distribution until they fix the issues!

Re: "uncaught exception: java.lang.noclassdeffounderror" !!!

RIM has fixed this for devices running OS5 (see KB29364 Article) by posting a new version ( I think it has something to do with the new BlackBerry Identity App (RIM's version of single sign on) but I haven't seen any write ups to confirm that. I tested this on my OS5 device and looks good so far.  So if you go to AppWorld and download this new version it should get things working again.
