I have both the Z10 and the Playbook 4G. I like them both a lot. I am sometimes on the Playbook for a few hours per day. I do about 80% of my text email on the Z10.
I am disapointed that the Playbook is no longer continued. I read some articles indicating Blackberry is researching to come out with a Phablet. This would be an oversized phone that can work like a tablet. If they come out with one I will be jumping on to it.
From using the Z10, I cannot understand why it does not sell much better. It is a terrific phone!

It's terrible that there are many people who bash the Blackberry phones. Many of these bashers have never even used the Blackberry phone to see what it is really like!
A big issue with Blackberry is they did not properly target the younger set that like to have a strong entertainment product than a business type phone. Also, Blackberry is not as strong on gadget type, and gaming software as the others.
I love my Blackberry phone for the type of work and tasks I need it for. I like some quiet type games (complex to play), such as chess, Mahjong, and etc. I am not in to action games with shooting, treasure hunts, and etc.
When I was looking for the types of games I wanted, I had to spend some time to find good versions. I read the reviews, and then took the chance. They were not expensive.
As for the hardware aspect of the Blackberry the quality is probably the best in the industry. As a phone it is top quality for talking. The email and typing are the best I have seen in any phone. I am doing about 80% of all my emails on my Z10. I am now faster at typeing on the Z10 than I was on my 9900.

And Beta was better than VHS.
And LPs are better than CDs.
And CDs and better than MP3s.
And 1080p is better than 1080i.
And Bluray is better than streaming.
Better does not the winner make...
Love my Z10, but sometimes I feel like I'm holding a Beta tape...
