Re: 30 day email sync limit is huge draw back my business; is there a fix?

This is not true. Even if you set it to unlimited on BES10 it will only sync 30 days. KB article from RIM:

Re: 30 day email sync limit is huge draw back my business; is there a fix?

WOW

I just spent probably 20-30 minutes adding and removing accounts, and looking through the same menus over and over again, trying to figure out why I couldn't sync more than 30 days of email from through POP3.  It never occurred to me that it's just not possible.

I realize I will have to give up BlackBerry soon but there just isn't a replacement I see that I like yet.

However, I just reset (deleted and re-added) a POP3 email account, hoping to clear up a problem I was having with it and now I realize I can't re-download all the emails that had previously been on the phone in the first place?

ARGH!

Thankfully this is a rather small account and it won't matter if I re-send all the emails to myself right now but man, what a mess.

You realize that this forum post is 2 years old. At that time, it was only possible to sync 30 days.

Now you can sync unlimited mails.

Noticed the date but didn't see other posts indicating how to do this... Any idea how?

I kept trying after I posted, in hopes that there might have been something I overlooked and, like you suggested, that a change had been made, but I have not yet found where the setting is (for POP3).

Settings > Accounts > Add > Advanced > POP > bottom of the screen > Sync Timeframe, I see 90 days as the max, not forever.

However, under IMAP (rather than POP), I do see "Foreever" as a choice.

[ Edited ]

Sigh.  Maybe when we hit the three year mark it will be possible.
