AT&T 1MB Update details?

[ Edited ]

There was a 1MB Update for the AT&T Z10 today. It did not change the OS version or anything. Have confirmed with others that it is not bloat reinstall (I nor many others removed a single app before getting the update).

Anyone from BB care to share what the update did?

Re: AT&T 1MB Update details?

I didn't get that update on AT&T (just checked).

Could it be a some radio file update?

Re: AT&T 1MB Update details?

My T-Mobile unit grabbed a 2MB update when I first turned it on (first boot) but hasn't downloaded anything in updates since....  I have no idea what it was (it didn't tell me.)

Re: AT&T 1MB Update details?

Small updates are almost always a piece of onboard or carrier software that you deleted forcing themselves back on to your phone.

Happens every time you delete one, you just get it pushed back as an update.

Re: AT&T 1MB Update details?

As OP stated, it's not always the re-push of a deleted app. Sometimes just an update to the radio files or something unrelated. It happened to me yesterday on my Verizon Z10 device. And absolutely no app or bloatware has been deleted.
