One thing I love about BB10 is the way I can very quickly select from multiple options when I want to contact someone who is in my contacts list. If I open my girlfriends entry in Contacts, I can choose to call or text her mobile, call her office, message via skype, open her facebook profile etc etc etc from within the Contacts app. BUT.... I can't send her a BBM that way. The Contacts app displays her BBM PIN (because I entered it manually), and beside that it says "Invite to BBM". We communicate regularly via BBM, so there is no need to invite her again, but I tried that anyway and sent an invite via the Contacts app, but this made no difference. So I completely deleted her Contacts entry, and deleted her from BBM. I then re-connected with her on BBM. Yet she still does not show up in the Contacts app.
None of my BBM contacts are showing up as BBM contacts in the Contacts app. The two apps do not seem to be integrating at all. I have checked to make sure that BBM and BBM voice are selected in the Contacts settings.
Can anyone help?
I am running the latest full release OS on my Z10. Thanks guys,

Hi John Clark,
This is two years later so apologies I never replied! The problem never resolved itself and I just decided to live with it as one of those little bugs in the system.
To answer your question: No, when I select the BBM directory within the Contacts app (using the menu icon on the bottom left, and tapping BBM) no contacts show up (it says "No contacts"). I have made sure that BBM contacts are included in the "Show Account in Contacts List" section of the settings.
I've noticed that ths also prevents me using Blackberry Assistant to send BBM mesagea or make voice calls. For example, if I ask the Assistant "Send a BBM message to John Smith", it tells me there is no BBM contact listed for that person, even though I communiate with them via BBM regularly.
So, if anyone has any idea how to resolve this issue I'd be much obliged!

Do you mean there are no Settings for Contacts? Swiping down from the top of the screen, I get a settings option. In there, I can select which apps or accounts will popoulate the Contacts list. BBM is included.
At present I have 17 contacts in BBM. I use BBM to connect with 12 of them reguarly. All of these have profiles in the Contacts app for email, phone etc. I use the phone for personal use only, and its never been connected to enterprise software.
Here are the specs: Model STL100-2, Software release 10.3.2.2836. BBM Version is 10.11

I mean there are no settings in BBM to have or not to have BBM contacts listed in the main Contacts app. They should automatically appear if you have contacts added to BBM. Any contacts added to BBM should also be listed in the main Contacts application under BBM.

Those settings do exist on my Z10 and Passport, I can choose whether or not BBM contacts appear in the main Contacts app. I can also choose to have Twitter, Facebook and other contacts in there, See the attached image. When an account is toggled off, those conacts do not show up in the Contacts app. As you can see, I have the BBM Contacts toggled 'on'. Despite this, they do not show up in the Contacts app.
