BBZ10

Since I have downloaded and using BB Link using one USB port on my Asus Zen computer, this port works now only with the BB cable and is completly inactive with other devices. I would appreciate any suggestion to regain access to this port, I have only 2 USB ports in this cpter!

Regards,

Re: BBZ10

Depending on what you are running off the other port, the simplest (hardware) solution would be to get a usb hub for your other port. Hope this can work for you!

Re: BBZ10

Thanks, but that's no solution. This is exactly what I was doing lately!

Re: BBZ10

Maybe check if Link is running in Task Manager and kill it while you install the Device Driver Software for your other device. First make sure that your phone isn't being accessed and that all things related to Link are closed or have otherwise fished running.

Re: BBZ10

You don't want to be connecting any BlackBerry device to a USB hub. That's very often the cause of connection issues.

It appear that way, the instruction video show otherwise! We learn by mistake I guess.

Thank you for your suggestion.

Re: BBZ10

Problem solved!

As suggested by Asus cpter, I have removed the BB link, updated the hub drivers (link provided by Asus),rebooted and voila!

Everything is back to normal, Thank you very much for the help and suggestions from the community.
