BlackBerry Protect display message

I wanted to see whether Protect would work with my Z10 as it used to on older devices and I pushed a display message on to it. It doesn't seem to be disappearing though! I tried a battery push, manual change of display user message, reboot and now even the latest software update won't make it go away. Any suggestions?

Re: BlackBerry Protect display message

Re: BlackBerry Protect display message

Can you post a screen shot of your problem? Did you minimise the task before you locked the screen? A bit of a big jump, but just wondering

Re: BlackBerry Protect display message

I just tested this on mine and it worked properly, the message was displayed.. I woke up the device with a swipe and was asked for my password, I entered the correct password and it unlocked my device and that was reflected on the protect website as well.

What software version are you using?

it somehow doesnt let me take the screen shot of the lock screen either because of the software update OR because of this Protect messege being on it

It appears for you that Protect has replaced your Owner information screen with it's own pushed message you sent.

You can change the OWNER information on the devcie itself >>
Settings > Display, and change the message there.

Does that now replace the Protect-pushed message for you?

ON your Owner Info screen, do you have anything entered there?
