exactly. Just lay it on top of the battery and put the battery cover back on.

Do you notice the battery charge indicator make significant drops? Say from 70% charge to 20% instantly?

What exact model number of Z10 do you have, look at Settings > About. What is the model, something like "100-?"

The battery didn't make significant drop.

Re: BlackBerry z10 phone problem

I think my problem is like some kind of serious battery drain that doesn't even allow me to notice it. Because I think the notification sound right before the automatic shut down of phone is the battery 20% alert. And I am unable to turn on the phone again is because it is out of battery. But what I don't understand is after I plug in to charge for 5-10 minutes the battery level back to the original battery level before sudden turn off. Any idea about the solution?

Such as what battery % does the device jump to after charging only a 5-10 minutes?

Re: BlackBerry z10 phone problem

For example if my battery level is 50% before it turn off automatically. After charging for about 5-10 minutes, the battery level goes back to 50%

Re: BlackBerry z10 phone problem

Yep, this is a known bug only in the 100-1 models, I hope BlackBerry developers are exploring the issue and will have a resolution soon.
