Blackberry Z10 takes lot time to boot when settings "SIM card PIN lock" is On

Device: BlackBerry Z10
Model: STL100-1
Software Release: 10.2.1.537
OS Version: 10.2.1.1925
Carrier: Beeline(KZ)

Z10 takes lot time to boot when settings "SIM card PIN lock" is ON

Tried to enable or disable this setting, the result :

On - 5 min 13 sec (on-screen progress bar has reached 100% for ~ 1 minute and then has waited for another 4 minutes in this state)

Off - 1 min 17 sec

What's the problem of the difference in time?

With a sim lock it has to do more encryption and decryption, thus the extra time. Why do you need a sim pin lock anyway?

If suddenly lost SIM-card would not want to give this information to someone

If lost, you can simply have your carrier give you a new sim. There's no need to save any contacts on the sim card so not much point. However, if it makes you feel better leave it on. You'll just have to deal with the longer boot time.
