Blackberry z10 Bluetooth not loading Corporate GAL

We are having troubles with a user who cannot see the corporate GAL on her BlackBerry z10 through her vehicles BlueTooth device. Do I need to sync the entire GAL to the phone first?

I checked out IT policy that is applied to her device and it is set to Allow(Default) for Device to share contacts with BlueTooth. Do I need to configure something in activesync?

 

Any ideas?

Hi bkirkcolas,

 

The Bluetooth address book will only show contacts that currently exist on the device. Remote GAL lookups are not supported over the Bluetooth connection.

Is this new on BES 10? Because when we were using BES 5 everyone is saying they had them via bluetooth? Maybe they synced their BB with the GAL? Or can they individually add GAL contacts to their personal address book on the BB z10?

You can add GAL contacts to any BlackBerry smartphone. On the BlackBerry Z10 in particular, after doing the remote lookup, hold your finger on the contact then choose the Add To Contacts icon on the right hand side.
