Friend must have stored wifi networks saved on your Blackberry Z10
If you want to connect them enable your wi-fi network to connect to a wi-fi network you want.
Kudos **Do not forget to give those people who help and advise you regarding your questions, as well give the answer like**

Thanks, my wifi networks are stored and enabled.
Today the phone connected to my work network automatically.
However when I returned home, the phone has not reconnected to my home network which is saved and enabled.
When I tap wifi in setup, the display shows Finding Available Networks (for over 1 hr now)
My home wifi network is up and running

Thanks for the tips.
The saved wifi networks all worked correctly on my previous phone Curve 9300.
I have not changed my home wifi settings.
Am I wrong to expect he Z10 to automatically connect?

Hi mrmu. i have exactly the same problem. I just replaced my Z10 yesterday because of this. It is the latest model and latest updated software whilst I set it up yesterday. It connected fast and easy to office wifi yesterday morning. When I took it home, it was hours before it found any wifi (and there are never less than 5 in range of other smart phones in the house!) Once connected it was fast to download. However this morning in the office, it does not connect automatically to the saved wifi connection. VERY annoying.

I am experiencing the same problem. When I move to another location with a (saved) wifi network, I now have to switch wifi off and on to force the Z10 to look for wireless networks. Very annoying to say the least.
I'm pretty sure this did not use to be the case when I got the phone, this flaw must have been introduced in one of the OS updates.
Model STL100-2, OS 10.1.0.4181.
I would highly appreciate if this bug is fixed soonest.

There seems to be at least a workaround for this problem.
Last week I sselected the "Hidden SSID" setting for my wifi accounts on my BB Z10
It has connected automatically to work & home networks since then.
Suggest you try this.
Many thanks to all who have offered assistance.
