I have experienced the same issue. I can open the Text (SMS) inbox separately from the Hub; I am still getting messages. But, when I touch them they don't open and I can't reply nor can I compose a message.

I bought the Z10 one month ago and it was working fine till this afternoon. When I got a text message, I could see it in the hub, when pressed on the text message option, it simoly lists all the texts, but none could be opened. Even the previous ones where complete thread should be there is not opening. When pressed hard, it gives sie options, but none help to open the message. I have shut off and restarted the device few times, still no result.I just did the data wipe and my device is empty right now. Hoping that the text problem is resolved, but will confirm after few days of testing.

At advice from web, I connected my Z10 to the BB Desktop Link. I clicked on the "Gear" (settings) and on the left side of the screen I clicked on re-installing the OS update (it had a little red star next to it for some reason). After the second update, everything works just as it should.
