I haven't tried Cal David yet so this is my settings for active sync:

Server: m.google.com
Port: 443

Username and account name are both your Gmail address.

To get to active sync setting, just add account then go to the bottom click on advanced button.

This just happened to me, could not access my BB id.
I simply did a power off, pulled the battery, restarted, and all was well.
