My computer cant detect the device via USB. When i connect, the Z10 has a mini popup which says 'Connected to Computer' but the Computer has a dialog box (windows 7) which says the drivers could not be found / installed. Can we install the drivers manually?

I wonder if you have to install Blackberry Link in order to get the drivers.

Link can still back it up.
Windows is finding other features of your phone - namely the Bluetooth 4.0 ports. This was also an issue with earlier model Blackberry's, when they had Bluetooth 2.0
You need to ask Windows to install a driver manually. It will prompt for a disk, (which you don't have), so choose the second option: Browse My Computer.
Scroll down the list until you find PORTS and select it.
Within PORTS, you will find "RIM Virtual Serial Port." Select that.
You may get a warning from Windows asking you to verify that you want to use that driver for this device. Say yes.
You may also have to do that again two or three times for other devices.
When it's all done, you'll be able to send and receive files from your Blackberry via Bluetooth, (if your computer supports it.)

All of you experiencing this problem:
Try this link where you can download the driver directly from Blackberry
And select Blackberry USB and Modem drivers
Good luck! (Sad it took me hours to find this link on their website!).

My Z10 has same issue. BBLink does not connect to phone via usb nor wifi. I have tried all tips I've read about; installed BB usb drivers, deleted network devices, uninstalled BBLink, use airplane mode. I am really frustrated. Need to back up to try to wipe the phone, but I have not find a way to do it without BBLink. Help, any ideas, thanks.
