This is a recurring issue with my new Z10. When I go into my contacts and pull down the settings to change the search from first last company, I cannot return to the contacts screen. I can close the contacts and re-open, but the title of settings remains at the top and my contacts are not shown in place of the first last company name.
The back button is missing and in it's place is the ALL option.
In order to reset this, I need to turn the device off and restart

Does this happen everytime you change the contacts sorting? Also are you setup on a BlackBerry Enterprise Server?
How many contacts do you have on the BlackBerry Z10?

Similar issue here, one of my BB z10 users came back to me 3 times with contacts freeze issue.
Randomly after making phone call from contact's screen user unable to close the contact or go back to search.
I was able to edit the contact but couldn't close it or share it.
Closing the Contacts app doesnt help, same "frozen" contact card would reappear again. so far only restart clearing the problem.
This is BB z10 on BES with 10.0.10.10.85 software.
Any help is much appreciated

Same thing for me. It freezes almost everytime when i search my contacts. The name that i search for comes up but when i click (touch) the contact nothing happensa and then i can't cancel, i can't go back, can't do anything. The only way to reset it is to reset my phone. Pretty annoying.
