Dark Theme

Hi Guys,

I am unable to change my Contacts to the Dark Theme, after selection it says to close and reopen the app but stays White.

This was the same before the update also

Using 10.2.1.2102

Thanks in advance for any ideas,

Regards,

David

Re: Dark Theme

David, how are you upgrading the OS, are you manually restoring a backup?

Re: Dark Theme

Hi JS,

Actually I have tried both, everything appears fine with the exception of the Dark Theme, As I said previously, I have never been able to use the Dark Theme as far as I recall.

I do not use the Z10 daily to be honest, maybe on a week end I swap my Sim over and try it for a while, I am still trying to get used to the touch screen as I have always had a full Keyboard.

Regards,

David

Re: Dark Theme

The phone upgreaded automatically, when I woke up there was a message saying it had restarted through the upgrade if I recall correctly

Re: Dark Theme

hmm... I am asking because at one point, if you upgraded via an autoloader and restored the backup settings, only the white theme was available even if you chose the dark them. Your case sounded similar, except I am not sure it's the same with an OTA upgrade. Could be.

On your BlackBerry10 device:
Restart: Press and hold the upper edge power button about 20-30 seconds ignoring the restart screen, you'll see a black screen and LED blink and reboot.
