Deleted Items not reconciling

I had a bold this morning but changed to bb10! Email settings exactly the same on imap so why when I delete on my bb are the emails not deleting from my mail server and pc etc ? Please help or I'll be sending this back and sticking with the bold

Are you saying that the emails that you delete on the z10 are not being delete from the server?

 

I am only asking because that is exactly the opposite behaviour than should be happening..
