my car has an inbuilt USB jack which I want to use to charge my Z10. Unfortunately as soon as I connect the phone a dialog pops up on the phone asking to install BB Link - which of course is not possible. There is a button to close the dialog but it pops up again a few seconds later.
Does anybody know a way to stop the phone showing this dialog (other than installing BB Link on my car ).
Thanks for any help,

Are you trying to do this through BES?
Read his post. His AUTOMOBILE is asking to install Link.
@ Ciske68, what manufacture is this, have you inquired of the auto manual, since this is the auto's onboard system asking this?

Thanks for your quick replies (and actually it was not the car but the phone were the pop up was shown).
The hint for checking the mass storage was very useful. What did the trick was the following (on the phone):
Settings=>Storage=>Access Storage/Memory => switch how the USB connection is determined from "Automatically" to "Windows"
(Note: I am using a German OS so I am guessing at the exact setting names but hopefully this should give any person having the same question give an idea on what to do).

I was given this Q10 and when I plugged it in to my computer I was greeted by that annoying message.
Now I know how to get rid of it.
