The Good

  • Ability to have a popup preview
  • Customizable
  • Ability to use LED indicators
  • Ability to set filters for various accounts
  • Quickly dismiss notifications
  • Ability to set priority
  • BlackBerry Messenger Integration



The Bad

  • App has to remain open*

Not sure I agree with calling the Hub an app...  It is an integral part of the OS and yes it is always running in as much as the OS is always running...

Agreed, it's not an app.

 

And if I want it "closed", I just swipe up from the bottom to display my Active Screen view.

Exactly, just "close" it by going to the Home Screen then swipe to the right to return to the hub when you wish.
