KB33801 - one-way audio on Bluetooth phone - affecting music as well?

Hi all,

 

I'm experiencing the same symptoms as KB33801 (One-way audio over Bluetooth for phone calls), but I'm also experiencing the same issue with music played via Bluetooth.  Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't.

 

I have two questions:

 

1 - is there a workaround for this like there is for phone (switching where the audio goes, then switching back)

 

2 - Is there a specific version of software that this relates to, and if so, is downgrading viable?

Make sure that the volume of the phone isn't muted prior to connecting to bluetooth.  That KB needs to be updated a bit as it affects all audio output through bluetooth.

That will affect any audio output so phone and music are included.  This one was frustrating me as well prior to realizing that the muted volume was causing it.

This is a problem I'm having as well. However, changing the sound setting volume doesn't solve the issue. I've also tried rebooting the phone and re pairing the device.

Sometimes it works. Most of the time it doesn't
