Too late... you must have installed BlackBerry Protect BEFORE it was lost or stolen. Sorta like you must have fire insurance on your home before the fire.

Also, once you have disabled the SIM card, Protect would NOT work anyway.

Just to clarify JSanders's reply (which I rarely do), Protect would "NOT" work anyway.  As for Facebook and Twitter, go to a PC and change your password for each site immediately.  That will instantly disable them on your phone.

Thank you, NOT was the key word in that sentence.

Corrected.

Re: Lost z10, need to wipe data pls help

If you bought the phone from a network service provider. They should of been able to block the handset as well as the sim.

As for BlackBerry Protect, if you had set this up on any previous devices. You would know that your BlackBerry ID is your username and password. As for the Z10 BlackBerry Protect is different, you don't need to set it up, just switch it on. It might be worth going to www.protect.blackberry.com inputting your BBID and checking any associated Devices, if it is there and as long as it's switched on. You can, wipe, block, locate it etc etc.

Hindsight is perfect, of course, but the best preventive steps are 1) But a device lock on the phone and, 2) Put a SIM lock in place.  Once it's lost or stolen, the only thing you need do is then would be call carrier and block IMEI/PIN.
