NFC Transfer Sends Multiple Copies of a Picture

Hello,

I have a Z10 and my wife also has a Z10. We have been trying to send a picture between the two phones using the NFC chip. However, when I send a single picture, once the transfer is over, the sending Z10 continues to send the same picture over and over again, and the receiving Z10 has multiple copies of the same picture. Has anyone else experienced this problem? We tried reversing which phone is sending and which is recieving, and we continue to have the same problem. Is there a solution? Thanks.

Hello dwong,

Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community.

Thank you for your question regarding the issue you are experiencing with NFC transfers on your BlackBerry Z10 smartphone.

Does this occur with any file you attempt to send? How many times does it try to resend? Which version of device software are you running currently under Settings - About?

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. It happens with all files - pictures, pdfs, and docs. It will resend indefinitely until we disable the connection. The version we are running is 10.0.10.85. When I transfer with a bluetooth connection (which is what the NFC chips creates), it does not do the infinite file transfer. Thanks.
