Worked for me as well. Make sure you've rebooted after instailling and run BBLink before you plug in your USB. It took a few minutes for mine to go active.
Too bad I don't see sync for notes...but thank goodness we have 2 way sync. Now lets see how well it works.

"Sync Contacts/Calendar" option remains inactive active...
I performed an "import Contacts/Calendar" and nothing changed...
Into BBLink, at the device Settings page, under Synchronization---> Contacts & Calendar, there is a text:
"Your device software version does not support syncing contacts and calendar entries between your device and your computer."
My device is updated with V10.0.10.99...
