No access to BB World (Personal) after update to

Hi Updated to last week and cannot access BB world personal at all - get error message "there was a connection problem - Blackberry World must close". I don't get this message when accessing BB World through work space. The effects are become very annoying as apps that have recently got an update in BB World will not work - users are sent directly to BB World to download the update - no update = no app. I've done all the usual routines to try to resolve the issue up to an including getting a replacement handset but the same issue persists. HELP! Thanks....
