I'm sorry for going back off-topic but If a hard reset by pulling the battery is sometimes required, then the upcoming Q5 would not have a non-removable battery.

So let's don't go back off topic. This is only confusing the OP's issue, and the answer is clearly stated in this thread already, to your specific question.

On your homescreen, do you see the BlackBerry dots logo on the top of the screen, next to your signal bars?

Re: OS 10.1 killed the Z10

Perhaps you should try the resolution stated in that KB article, since it is the very same error message.

OK just trying to help and since you have not stated what all you've tried...

Which reminds me, why don't you tell us ALL that you've tried?

I can tell you, if you all even Google the Caldav problem in Google. you will see all the hits for this issue that everyone knows about except you guys. There are at least 20 post in this forum and a billion on crackberrys forum about the new update and everyone one have problems syncing to caldav and some exchange servers. And battery problems. Among 2 to list.

I myself have not been able to fix this issue. My problems started with the new update to 10.1.0.273 here on the Rogers network. I took the update and my battery was only lasting about 4 hours Max in stand by. ( also a problem everyone is complaining about in both forums.) So then I decided to backup and do a restore and see what happens. ( now Caldav will not sync) And
I'm not too happy about it. You do a setup and me who is using Apples Icloud which everything was working until the update.

You get an error "caldav server is unavailable at this time, try again later...." also a problem for a lot of people Q10 and Z10.
