Outlook contact to Z10 phone extension problem

Hi,

I've tranferred all my outlook contacts to my Z10 but there seems to be

a problem with the interpretation of extension number.

Jane McDugal (xxx)xxx-xxxx #yyy

When I transfer from outlook to Z10 the interpretation is : (xxx)xxx-xxxxyyy

So the Z10 doesn't recognize the new number as a valid number.

Is there a way to just put a character between the 2 numbers, like a p for pause...

Thanks,

Jack

Re: Outlook contact to Z10 phone extension problem

Hey Damasteel,

Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.

Thanks for the question.

You can edit each contact and place P between the number and extension number as a workaround.

What version of Outlook are you currently using?  I will be investigating this issue further.

I look forward to your reply.

Cheers.

Re: Outlook contact to Z10 phone extension problem

I'm using outlook 2007 and I know I can edit all the numbers manually but its not great to have like 300 contacts to re-edit...

Thx a lot
