POP/SMTP account synchronization

I bought a Z10 when it first came out. I had to turn it back in after I learned there was not an option to NOT delete POP emails from the server when deleted from the phone (sync option).

 

I'd really like to move from my torch back to the Z10 IF this problem has been solved in a software update.

 

Has it?

might be able to sideload Touchdown or K9 android app which support keep on server

 

Or you could forward email to a second account and that one wone be able to delete from the first one. but then you have 2 email addresses to deal with.

 

Or just ignore them being on device and switch to Outlook.com which will allow Exchange Active Sync which is so much better than POP or IMAP.

The workaround is moving them to folders rather than deleting them. But I don't know if that's available via POP...it's rather the most ancient email server technology that there is, and has much fewer features than newer technologies (e.g., IMAP, EAS, etc.).

I have TWRR and in my PC outlook express I can select how long to leave on server,or remove in one day. It's a POP email. I'm on a Z10.
THE BITTERNESS OF POOR QUALITY, LINGERS LONG AFTER THE CHEAPNESS OF PRICE, IS SOON FORGOTTEN.

Thank you for your suggestions. I am looking at these products to see how I can consolidate these old technology accounts into a system that will work on the Z10. Outlook.com looks very promising. I know POP/SMTP is old news, but I have no control over what some of my customers still use :-(
