Re: POP email on Z10

It is no longer Push technology, but uses ActiveSync.

Is this a private email domain? When you setup the POP account, can you edit the outgoing POP server name?

Do you have an special outgoing POP server specifications?

Re: POP email on Z10

And when setting that account up on your Z10, you get no errors?

Re: POP email on Z10

It is possible that your network connection (either your wireless carrier or your ISP if on WiFi) is blocking port 25. This is a common anti-spam technique.

You should check if that is the case.

Re: POP email on Z10

Well, the Z10 does support POP email, actually.

Any chance you have an option for IMAP email?

Re: POP email on Z10

Yes, I can use my Gmail on it but company mail is more important and frequent.

Re: POP email on Z10

I don't know whether RIM will do something or not to support BIS/ BES users. How do you think?
