Password attempt

Password attempt was made for all 10 attempts and no success. Is there a way to stop the erasing of data or a recovery mode?

Re: Password attempt

Hi and Welcome to the Community!!

BBs remain the most secure mobile devices available. When one uses all of the available security features, one must suffer the consequences. In your situation, the answer is no -- once the wipe begins, it cannot be stopped. The intent is that, by failing too many times, the device has assumed it is no longer in the hands of the rightful owner...and wipes away all data so as to protect it from access by other than the rightful owner.

Good luck!

Re: Password attempt

there is no way to stop the security wiping of the phone....infact it is the best feature of the phone to prevent the data getting to the wrong hands
