Playing music

I'm trying to play music and video and keep getting this error message and don't know how to fix it.

The file can't be played because another application is using voice services. Close the application and try again.

How do I figure out what application is running

Re: Playing music

Hi cdnkid,

Do you have any applications currently open on your BlackBerry Z10? I would also recommend performing a reboot, by holding down the power button and choosing Restart, then trying to play media again.

Thanks.

Re: Playing music

To cdnkid:

No need to pull battery to do a re-start anymore as when you touch the top button to shut down, an icon appears on the bottom for a restart.

Smart move BB!

Re: Playing music (not)

First of all - robertach -thanks for the tip on the restart - I wondered what that button would be used for as I was turning off the phone -

secondly - I can't play music (sort of) - I get the following message -

"Error - The media library can't be accessed. Please try again later or restart your device if the problem persists"

The restart doesn't fix the problem.

Yet when I go to the music folder in the file manager, I can play music
