Re: Please HELP - Z10 battery issue

Similar problem here since yesterday. Phone goes on a endless reboot cycle if plugged into PC to charge. Had a empty phone yesterday woke up let it charge for 5h tried turning it on nothing happens.

If I plug it in to my PC and turn it on it shows the red led then black berry logo as normal then shuts down.

I have been getting this report from few of my class mates all with Dev Alpha C or B same issue everywhere seems to be software related.

Good thing is tho the Update/Audoloader executes with no problem but does not fix anything I'm hoping BB can solve this via update.

Also leads me to believe phone could have possible updated on it's own ie. background update i was connected to wifi.

Re: Please HELP - Z10 battery issue

What you can do is let the phone use all the battery and then recharge so that the phone gets the measure again right

Re: Please HELP - Z10 battery issue

i did let it run out of juice and charge it until full charge,  but then after 2 -3 hours of charging, the battery meter is still showing wrong meter sometimes it fulls at 48%, all you have to do is to do a battery pull to see that its fully charged. then from 100% it will decrease slowly, like Ive been using the phone for 2 hours and the meter shows that i still have 96% batter, but when I did another battery pull my battery now shows that its 76% or less.

Good day

Welcome to BB forums

Do you have alot of apps installed & running in the background? Have you upgraded your OS?

Here are some tips that may help you I get bout 10-12 hours per day with these tips good luck!

http://helpblog.blackberry.com/2013/03/blackberry-z10-battery-tips/

ALSO

The on-device battery meter is off sync with the a the actual battery charge. Connect to your OEM wall outlet battery charger and while still connected and powered on, remove the battery a minute to reboot. After reboot leave to fully charge to 100%.
Thus will reset the false charge reading.
