Problems with updates

i updated to .88 version and every time i delete facebook, twitter, linkedin, foursquares it tells me the same update is available.

What is up with that? is there anyway to stop it?

same thing is happening to me.  guess they really want us to keep those apps!

Try checking to see if it's showing in BlackBerry World. Use the BlackBerry World app to go to 'My World' > 'My Apps and Games', and if it's listed under 'Available' you can long press it to show the side menu, then select the x cloud icon - 'Remove from My World'.

Apps that are integrated into the OS I think will keep getting pushed back to you. Simply Bury them in a folder called 'junk I don't use' on the last page of icons.

I'm not 100% sure about these social apps, but they may be 'required' because they are so heavily integrated into the OS.

If you delete the accounts and bury the icons they shouldn't bother you too much.

I did the same thing and it is no bother any longer.
