Screen died?

I downloaded RealRacing3 last night(finally BB gets a decent game!) and spent a good 30 minutes playing it before bed. Woke up this morning and the screen is dead. Can still recieve calls but no lcd. I search on here and find that someone had a similar screen issue and they hit the "voice" button brought the screen back up. I did this and it worked immediately. The phone had seemingly come back to life and I immediately deleted RR3, thinking that was the problem. All was good for an hour then it started "fading out." I'll be in the middle of reading an email and the touch screen becomes inoperable as the entire screen dims until its black. It's at the point now where the voice button doesn't bring the screen back and occasionally upon reboot it will show the BB icon then go blank again. I haven't even had this thing 6 months and it hasn't been dropped hard ever. Nor has it been wet/submerged. The "Water indicator" is light pink though, not sure why but I know if I take it to AT&T they will tell me I'm screwed. What are my options here? Please help!

I have been supporting blackberry device for years but this is ridiculous, I'm trying to run a business of this thing an it's going to shaft me throughout the weekend. Six months? My torch last me over 3 years and I once dropped it off a third story balcony! Sorry for venting this is incredibly frustrating!

Re: Screen died?

if you bought it from AT&T they have to support you, that where you bought it

I have had replacements sent to me many times and no issue with them

Re: Screen died?

I would assume once they see the pink on the water indicator they won't help me at all. I assume it's from sweat or humidity or something. All I know is it hasn't been in water.

I suppose I'll head up there after work though.

Re: Screen died?

Good luck.

You have your mobile phone number listed as your "My Mobile Provider" or carrier. Putting your phone number out on the internet on these public forums for the world to see, is not wise. To change that, at the top of this page click on My Settings > Personal Profile > Personal Information, and in the entry block for "Carrier" type the name of your mobile provider.

Re: Screen died?

Thanks, it must of automatically put that in there when I registered.

I'm starting to think being a loyal customer to this product was not a wise decision. At&t wants $175 to replace it. Ugh.

Did they notice the pink Liquid Damage Indicator strip?

Or was that just for warranty exchange, if so that's not right.
