The BB-Link says that it is unable to connect to the device and hence can't continue.

Can someone help ?

P.S:

Re: Security wipe stuck

It is not finished wiping. The security wipe can take a couple hours and up to 10-12 hours according to IF you had data encryption enabled and how much data you had on the device.

Re: Security wipe stuck

Try Hard resetting the device. If you are not able to do so, use any autoloader from the develoepr site to load the OS. Then update the latest software OTA.

The user simply needs to wait on the Security Wipe to complete. See my note above.

Re: Security wipe stuck

I have a passport and have been waiting on the wipe to complete for 4 days! It has been at 99% for the last 36 hours. Still keep waiting?

Re: Security wipe stuck

@captainqtp

It's up to you.

You can perform a reboot and it might complete quicker, or not. I know, yea.

Restart: With the BlackBerry device POWERED ON, press and hold the upper edge power button about 20-30 seconds, ignore the 3-2-1 timer and hold until the screen goes black and you see the red LED.
or
Reboot: With the BlackBerry device POWERED ON, using the side edge volume keys, press and hold down both of the Up and Down volume keys for about 20 seconds, ignoring the initial screenshot message... the screen will go black and reboot.

IF you do reboot and get an error 0015, Read this for error 0015

Read troubleshooting tips for Error BB10-0015 from the Knowledge Base
